5KB, hot off our recital at Westwood First Presbyterian Church will be unwinding at Northside Tavern to Bach and Brass! Come and spend some time in the revitalized neighborhood of Northside and then grab a beer at the tavern and enjoy classical music in a place you’ve never heard it before.

From Miles Apart is a recital by 5KBrass celebrating the journeys of our quintet members to up to this point as well as the stylistic contrasts between the repertoire we would like to play for you. 5KB is excited to be one of five quintets that have been invited to Sweden to learn from the fabulous musicians of the Stockholm Chamber Brass! While there, we will receive group coachings, individual private lessons, and premiere new pieces for brass quintet and large brass ensemble.
5KB plays an intimate, exciting, artistic and yet casual performance at Landlocked Social House. We invite you to join us as we perform a flight of music to pair with Landlock's spring seasonal offerings!
Dr. Andrew Jones (Adjunct Professor of Music) has kindly invited 5KB to perform a set of brass quintet favorites for students at Wittenberg University. Dr. Jones will also be joining us for a performance of Collier Jones' "Four Movements for Five Brass." Also on the program will be performances by WU's Tuba/Euphonium ensemble!
